To celebrate 11 years of New Riff, we turned back to where it all began, blending our oldest whiskeys into a one-of-a-kind release that could only come from New Riff. Anchored by 11-year-old Corn Whiskey and 11-year-old Bourbon from our very first distillations, the blend is layered with bold, expressive ryes including Balboa, Aroostook Malted Rye, and our flagship Rye.

Those who are familiar with each of these whiskeys will recognize their individual voices throughout the blend, each one adding its own character to this rich, complex pour that speaks to both our roots and our evolution.

We’re proud to donate a portion of proceeds from each bottle sold to Brighton Center, supporting their mission to provide vital programs and services for individuals and families, helping our community grow and thrive.

TASTING NOTES:

Nose: Sweet maple syrup, candied dark fruit, and rich leather jump from the glass as brought forward by well aged corn whiskey and bourbon – but this is balanced by sweet, oaky baking spices from the rye whiskeys, and a touch of cocoa from our Aroostook Malted Rye.

Palate: Complex from the get go as corn sweetness is countered by Balboa Rye’s signature fruity spice. The extended aging of each component adds layers of vanilla and oak character throughout the palate.

Finish: A lengthy finish brimming with mint-chocolate, spicy cinnamon candies, and jammy fruits.

How to Purchase a Bottle
The 2025 Headliner release will be available to purchase online only for in store pickup on August 1, 2025 at 11AM EST. 

This purchase will be first come first served and there will NOT be a lottery system like last year. This is not a Whiskey Club release but we will be utilizing the Whiskey Club platform for the sale of this bottle. In order to purchase, you must create an account for free and be logged into your account at the time of purchase.

How much does it cost?
Each bottle of Headliner costs $150.00 + tax. 
Proceeds from each bottle will be donated to Brighton Center.

Can you ship it to me?
We cannot ship bottles of Headliner – they must be picked up at the gift shop. Bottles must be picked up between August 2 and October 5, 2025. 

Can I pick up a bottle for someone else? 
Yes! If you are planning to have someone else pick up your bottle, please include their name in the notes section of your order. Upon pickup, please ensure they have your name and order number to help expedite the pick up process.

Is this a New Riff Whiskey Club Release?
Headliner is not a New Riff Whiskey Club release. However, we are utilizing the Whiskey Club platform to purchase this bottle. You will need to create a Whiskey Club account to enter (it’s free!). 

There will be another New Riff Whiskey Club release later this year. Stay tuned! 

Can I purchase bottles in the gift shop or at my local liquor store?  
No, Headliner will NOT be available for sale in our gift shop or at retailers. The only way to purchase a bottle is online on August 1, 2025.
